The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is currently the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive street-legal production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407.5 km/h or 253.2 mph). It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS in its Molsheim (Alsace, France) factory and is sold under the legendary Italo-French Bugatti marque. It is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm. It is also the world's second supercar with 16 cylinders, after the Cizeta Moroder V16T.

Any idea how much would the COE be? :-D
I would rather save some of this money and get a Ferrari or Lamborghini instead.

I mean the ARF and road tax...
It's an 8-litres car. Is there even one in S'pore?

It doesn't make sense to own this car in sg... Expensive road tax & insurance, 2 many traffic lights and high fuel costs... with this amount, can get a ferrari or lamborghini, still got leftovers to buy an apartment...

Looks like the record has been broken:

Shelby Supercars (SSC) has reported a world record 257mph run in speed testing of its 1183bhp, twin-turbo V8 Ultimate Aero TT. The first pass was recorded at 257.41mph (414.31kmh) and the second pass was recorded at 254.88mph (410.24kmh) in testing on a temporarily-closed two lane stretch of public highway in the company's home state of Washington for an average top speed of 256.15mph.
